The Mural Restaurant in the former substation of the Stadtwerke München, today’s MUCA MÜNCHEN – MUSEUM OF URBAN AND CONTEMPORARY ART, follows the Mural credo in all respects:

Eat local. Drink natural.

At lunchtime for lunch, in the afternoon in the Mural Vinotheque, in the evening in the menu and on Sundays for brunch.

EAT LOCAL

The team around chef Joshua Leise (1 Star & 1 Green Star Guide Michelin) creates diverse, complex and always surprising taste experiences from carefully selected regional products.

And this applies to the lunch menu as well as the dinner menu, the Sunday brunch as well as the snacks in the vinotheque. Star cuisine is relaxed and easily accessible for anyone with a taste for indulgence.

In the Mural kitchen, sustainably produced ingredients from regional partners are reduced to pure taste – in all its nuances, this natural flavor is at the center of every dish.

DRINK NATURAL

Corresponding to the menu, Mural sommelier (and managing director) Wolfgang Hingerl serves the highest quality wines and sparkling wines from many wine regions of the world.

The focus is on naturally produced wines from exceptional winemakers with whom the Mural team maintains personal contacts. With a total of 1,100 positions, the Mural wine list is one of the largest and “stylistically most progressive in the city” (Der Feinschmecker, 2022).

LUNCH

Tu – Sat 12 – 3pm

Enjoy lunch at Mural à la carte or in a 2-4 course combination (32 / 42 / 58 EUR).

Our menu changes daily and you can choose from various starters, main courses and desserts. Last order 2 pm.

BRUNCH

Sunday 11 am – 3 pm

4-course brunch menu (45 EUR) or à la carte – every Sunday.

Slots at 11 am, 12 pm and 1 pm (2 hours each, kitchen until 3 pm).

RESERVATIONS

We look forward to your visit to Mural Restaurant – and recommend in any case prior reservation.

Tuesday to Saturday we are open and you can start between 19 and 19.30 o’clock in the pleasure evening with us – so you have enough time for our menu – since January 2023 also in a 100% vegan variant.

You can also choose individually from our daily changing à la carte menu.

CORPORATE EVENTS

Both the restaurant Mural and the premises in the MUCA – Museum of Urban and Contemporary Art – can be rented exclusively for your company celebration.

 

Whether in the middle of the restaurant’s walls designed by international artists, the Shapard Fairy-Separé in industrial chic or the entire museum – together with the MUCA we offer you space for up to 200 people. We plan your event individually, according to your occasion.

 

In addition, our team is also ready for you outside the Hotterstrasse. From classic catering, flying finger food or live cooking to a set menu in your desired location no limits.
We support you at your event, not only with culinary highlights, but if required also gladly already in the planning phase.

PRIVATE EVENTS

Whether birthday, wedding, anniversary or simply a celebration with friends – we look forward to making your private celebration a culinary highlight with our culinary art!

 

Our catering team will not only support you in choosing the right location, but will also work with you to develop the perfect menu – whether set or flying buffet – for your personal event.

 

We are also happy to support you in the further conception: whether decoration, reception or the supporting program. Thanks to our team’s experience and wealth of ideas, you can also enjoy your private event as host right from the planning phase.

Our other Munich locations – Bar Mural, BAMBULE! Bar and Mural Farmhouse are of course open for events, too.
